Let us explain the next goals for Carbify while spoiling some Eco Empires screenshots. (it is playable!)
This is a rather big update about ‘what’s next’ for Carbify. Lots of things are happening behind the scenes. Let’s update you!
$CBY REDEPLOY
We discovered a flaw in the $CBY smart contract. We hate it, but we need to redeploy the contract. As we speak it is being audited by Quill Audits. This will take approximately 48 hours. As soon as the contract is approved, we will deploy it and airdrop new $CBY tokens. This means the $CBY tokens you currently own will become obsolete. The DEX will go live when we are done with the distributions. Luckily this is only a very marginal delay.
DEX TRADING
We already tested with a $CBY-USDC pair on Uniswap the past two days. We will add liquidity ($400.000) once the $CBY smart contract is fully audited and deployed. The demand is high for people in need of tokens. The market is in our favour right now.
SMART NFTS
As you know, our method of delivering full transparency is key for this project. This is done by embedding the exact GEO location for the tree into the NFT’s metadata in an immutable way. By adding the GEO location, we can:
- Monitor the amount of $aCO2 claimed per exact tree.
- Monitor the amount of total $aCO2 generated by trees and make sure we are following the rules of the Carbify Carbon Standard.
- Generate reports proving that we only sell burn $aCO2 once.
- Generate reports for businesses. They can connect through our API.
- And much more!
We received the first 50.000 GEO locations. We can now remint these NFTrees using the GEO locations to embed into the metadata. The perfect timing to upgrade the NFTs a bit!
We are going to mint ‘Smart NFTs’. These are upgradable NFTs. We will allow users to load or stake $CBY tokens into NFTrees, Heroes and land plot NFTs to upgrade them. NFTrees with $CBY tokens will be eligible for the staking program. You pay a small fee when you withdraw the tokens from the NFT. We can go forward with everything described in the green paper. But this is more fun! The NFTs can be traded on the marketplace, including the tokens inside the NFT.
To be clear. You still need to stake $5 worth of $CBY. This will not change. The SmartNFT is not ‘extra’. We choose the SmartNFT option instead of storing all the value in a smart contract. That’s a risk we are not willing to take.
Plots: Upgrading plots allows more trees to be planted while playing Eco Empires.
NFTrees: Allow the trees to join the tree staking program. ($5 per tree)
Heroes: This will upgrade the hero to the next level and release special powers and perks for the owner.
CBY AIRDROP
We will airdrop $CBY tokens very soon to wallets owning NFTrees. 10 $CBY for each tree will be airdropped worth $2,5. We have millions of $CBY available, and it will take years to empty our airdrop bag! No worries, you will receive tokens for a long time when buying NFTrees.
